We’re starting 2025 with a new programme of music themed under the theme of “Resilience”. First planned in 2020 just prior to the pandemic, the programme features music by composers of the 17th and 18th centuries who shared experiences of living through and some of the worst pandemics of the period. There will be music by Anthony Holborne and John Dowland of the English Renaissance, Arcangelo Corelli and Antonio Vivaldi of Italy, and the great Henry Purcell.

Joining us is the virtuoso classical guitarist Y.S. Tang; and historical dance specialist Dr Helen Davidge of the Georgettes of Oxford in the UK who will give us some insight into baroque dances to the music of Purcell and Charles-Hubert Gervais.
